North Georgia is home. The job helps decide how far we go.

Timber & Talon serves North Georgia from Jasper. The travel distance depends on the description of the job, so call and tell us where the property is and what you need.

Communities we serve

Service coverage extends across North Georgia from Atlanta toward the east and west borders and northward. We don’t take every job — it depends on the work and the location.

North Georgia tree and wildlife work, from Jasper to Atlanta

Timber & Talon is based in Jasper, Georgia, in the heart of Pickens County. Most of our work is across the North Georgia mountain communities: Jasper, Ellijay, Canton, Ball Ground, Talking Rock, Marble Hill, and the private mountain communities of Big Canoe, Bent Tree, and the Preserve at Sharp Mountain. These are wooded, hilly properties where trees grow close to homes and structures, and where wildlife, including raccoons, squirrels, bats, and others, regularly find their way inside.

We also serve the Atlanta-corridor counties: Cumming, Dawsonville, Alpharetta, Roswell, Marietta, Cartersville, and Woodstock. Properties in these areas often have mature trees that need attention, storm damage after a severe weather event, or wildlife problems that come with backing up to the North Georgia foothills.

How far we travel depends on the job. A large commercial clearing or an urgent storm-damage call may justify a longer drive. A single stump grind nearby is straightforward. The honest answer is to call us at (706) 299-1100, describe your property and what you need, and we will tell you plainly whether we are the right crew for it.

We do not cover every county every day, and we won't tell you we do. What we will do is give you a straight answer.

Whether the call is a leaning oak over a driveway in Canton, storm cleanup in Dahlonega, or squirrels in an attic in Cumming, the first step is the same. Tell us what you are seeing, and we will come look, assess the property in person, and explain what we find before you decide what to do next.

I live in one of the North Georgia communities. Do you service my area?

The best way to find out is to call (706) 299-1100 and describe the property and work. If we can get to you, we will tell you. If the job is too far or not the right fit, we will say that too.

Do you charge to come out and look?

Call us and describe what you are dealing with. We will talk through it first and decide together whether a site visit makes sense.

Not sure if we come to you?
